Air Ventures :: Unique Kauai and Oahu Air Tours
Since 2004 AirVentures Hawaii have been taking visitors on once-in-a-lifetime air tours of Kauai. With their recent purchase of two state-of-the-art GA-8 Airvan airplanes they've taken Kauai and Oahu air tours to a higher level. In 2008 they leveraged Tsunami Marketing's brand development and marketing programs to increase market share and promote the new aircraft.
The challenge was that helicopters have always been synonymous with Kauai and Oahu air tours — and small airplanes have been positioned as 'the cheap alternative' and 'not as premium' as a helicopter tour. All that changed when AirVentures' new airplanes came on-line. They match helicopter tours for comfort and style at a very attractive price point. And, best of all, they do it on just 12 gallons of fuel per hour (helicopters guzzle a whopping 45 gallons per hour).
