When Lappert's Hawaii first came to Tsunami Marketing, they had an amazing product, great staff and a loyal customer base; but the Lappert's Hawaii brand didn't capture those attributes and their ice cream and Hawaiian coffees were perceived as being 'too expensive' instead of 'super-premium'.

They also needed to differentiate Lappert's Hawaii from Lappert's in California through brand development, brand immersion through interior design of Hawaii locations, packaging design and advertising.

Tsunami got to work on a differentiating brand position and once approved, we applied the new brand to the identity, interior design and experience of store locations, along with product packaging and merchandise, print advertising, signage and an e-commerce enabled web site.

The result was significant market gains in retail shelf space for coffee products, higher revenue generation, and most importantly, in-store sales are up significantly over previous years.
